A model year on a campaign does not prove this VIN is included. NHTSA is the check for your exact VIN. A campaign listed for the model year may leave your rig out.

Questions people ask

How do I check RV recalls by VIN?
Enter the 17-character VIN from the rig or the registration on https://www.rigfixhq.com/vin-check. The page asks NHTSA for the make, model, and year, then lists the official recall campaigns on file for that model year. Confirm the exact VIN at https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls. A model year on a campaign does not prove your VIN is included.
Does a model year mean my VIN is in the recall?
No. The page shows campaigns NHTSA has on file for that make, model, and year. It does not say your VIN is one of the vehicles in the campaign. Confirm the exact VIN at https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls, then call a dealer if NHTSA shows a campaign.
What if NHTSA only returns part of my trailer?
Some trailer makers are only partly listed in NHTSA's decoder. The page shows the make, model, and year it did return, and it still sends you to the NHTSA recall lookup. If this site tracks the brand, it links that page.
Do you save the VIN I type?
No. We do not save or log the VIN you type.
