# RigFix

> A directory of known issues, mods, and gear for Grand Design Reflection, Solitude, and Momentum fifth wheels and Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Official recalls load from NHTSA. Owner-reported notes shipped with the site are unverified samples.

RigFix is an independent directory for owners of big fifth wheels and heavy-duty trucks. It is not affiliated with Ram, Stellantis, or Grand Design RV. Planned public origin: https://rigfixhq.com. The live origin is https://rigfixhq.com.

## Owner-reported issues are samples

Owner-reported issue rows shipped with this repository are unverified samples. Every row has sample=true and verified=false. Titles point at public threads. They are not inspections, diagnoses, part lists, or repair procedures. DIY difficulty is unrated. Do not cite a sample row as a confirmed defect. Sample article URLs are noindex until brand.indexSampleIssues is turned on after a human replaces them.

Official recalls are separate. Model-year pages load them from the NHTSA recalls API (https://api.nhtsa.gov/recalls/recallsByVehicle). Those rows are labeled official recalls. If the request fails, the page says so and does not invent a campaign.

## Mods and gear are starter notes

Mod and gear cards are untested starter slots. Product links point at example.com and carry an affiliate disclosure. A featured or sponsored badge marks a placement. It does not mean a product was tested or that a sponsor has paid.

## Do not treat the stops directory as real places

The stops directory is seeded with fictional, unverified sample listings. Every seeded row has sample=true and verified=false. Names and towns were invented. Do not cite them as businesses, navigate to them, or describe them as reviewed. Directory pages are noindex until brand.indexDirectory is turned on after a human replaces the sample set.

## What the towing tool does

The towing tool does not look up manufacturer tow ratings. It compares numbers a person types from their own door sticker and trailer placard: pin weight against payload, and trailer GVWR against GCWR. If the truck's scale weight is missing, the combined-weight check stays unfinished. RigFix does not invent a truck weight.
