# New RV and truck recalls, week of August 20, 2018

These are official NHTSA recalls. A model year on a campaign is not proof a VIN is included. Owner reports are not included.

NHTSA received 1 recall campaign the week of August 20, 2018 for RVs, fifth wheels, and the trucks that tow them. A model year on this page is not proof your VIN is included.

## 18V-550

The break-away safety switch may not have been wired to a constant power source, and, as a result, the switch may be inadvertently disconnected from the trailer house battery causing the brakes to not engage if the trailer detaches from the tow vehicle.
